National Prevention Program &͓̽ Public Health Programs

At Brains ICS, we are deeply honoured to stand alongside the Ministry of Health in advancing the transformative "Spyros Doxiadis" - National Prevention Program, a beacon of Public Health excellence in Greece. 

The "Prolamvano" National Screening Program, under the auspices of the Spyros Doxiadis initiative, represents an unprecedented leap in organized preventive care. Launched in April 2024, this pioneering program offers nationwide free screenings for Breast, Cervical, Colorectal cancers, and cardiovascular risk, integrating digital channels and the Gov.gr portal for seamless access and public empowerment. Already reaching over 3.500.000 citizens through screening tests, the initiative has detected early-stage conditions in more than 70.000 individuals, saving lives and reshaping healthcare delivery.

Through our steadfast partnership with the Ministry, Brains ICS facilitates the integration of disruptive technologies, especially artificial intelligence, into public health operations. We actively support projects that harness AI to empower early disease detection, personalised diagnostics, and data driven decision- making for superior patient outcomes. 

During the celebration of innovation at the Thessaloniki Intenational Fair (TIF), our team proudly represented the Ministry of Health and Hellenic Electronic Governance - HDIKA, at their pavilion. We engaged attendees with: 

• Triage for Primary Healthcare - Delivering live demonstrations of the triage process in primary health care units.

• Gestational Diabetes Tracking App-Introducing an advanced application for real time monitoring and aggregation of gestational diabetes data, including glucose levels, nutrition, and physical activity to empower expectant mothers and clinicians alike. 

• CVD pre-screening - Showcasing how with just a short questionnaire and a smartphone’s camera, in minutes, AI gives a first look at an individual’s cardiovascular risk.

• Scribe – Recording and structured digitization of the medical visit through artificial intelligence, with ICD-10 coding and automatic integration into the Electronic Health Record, ensuring patient access and facilitating the physician’s work
